SIEA、アメリカでPlayStation VRの価格を値下げ カメラバンドルが$399、「PS VR Worlds」バンドルが$449に
Sony Interactive Entertainment Americaは9月1日よりPlayStation VRの価格引き下げを行うことを発表した。今回の価格改定ではPlayStation VRとPlayStation Cameraのバンドルが基本セットになり、価格が$399（税別）となる。
また、PlayStation VR、PlayStation Camera、ゲームソフト「PlayStation VR Worlds」、PlayStation Move2本がセットになった「PlayStation VR Worlds Bundle」が$449（税別）を発売する。なお、アメリカにおけるPlaySTation Moveの価格は2本で$99となっている。
PlayStation VR Worlds Bundle
SIEAでは現在入手可能なVR対応ソフトとして、「Arizona Sunshine」「SUPERHOT VR」「Tiny Trax」「Fantastic Contraption」「Dino Frontier」「Farpoint」「バットマン：アーカムVR」「Star Trek: Bridge Crew」「biohazard 7: Resident Evil」などのタイトルがあり、年内には「The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR」「Doom VFR」「Sparc」「Bravo Team」「The Inpatient」が発売されるとしている。また、近日配信予定のシステムソフトウェア5.00ではシネマティックモードでの5.1/7.1chサラウンド対応が行えることでVRの使い道がより広がるとしている。
